Tonight I went to a shoppingmal (Hilvertshof) in Hilversum where they have a store that sells Mac magazines, but it was closed. That means I probably have to wait till next week before I can go and get my (english/american) mac magazines….
But as we were walking past the Freerecordshop (music/moviestore) R. and I couldn’t resist ourself and bought some DVD’s :) here is the list with the IMDB scores:
*Star Wars – Attack of the Clones (7.5)
*Another Day in Paradise (6.1)
*Stephen King – This is Horror (not rated)
*Amelie (8.8)
*Ghost World (7.9)
*Queen of the Damned (4.9)
The last one is my favorite because I am a big fan of Anne Rice, so it kinda hurts seeing such bad ratings…. I might put in some good ratings by abusing the domainnames I have to get a lot of logins to get the score higher! :)
Star Wars was R.’s choice.
Next weekend will be a DVD watching weekend I think :)

I’ve been spending the last few hours watching movies made after 2 books of Stephen King. The first one was Hearts in Atlantis which I got on DVD as a xmas gift last night, and the second one was the last part of the Stand which was on television.

Tomorrow evening (wednesday 4 dec. 2002) the first part of the mini-serie the Stand will be on tv. It wil be on Yorin (dutch tv broadcast station) @ 22.00 hour. I will be watching it, tried to read the book so many times but never was able to end it (story is good but very very long……………)

Update – 4 december 2002:
It was good!! I will try my best not to forget the next few wednesday evenings to watch it again, or tape it when I am not @ home.
But I did notice 4 stupid errors the moviemakers did, one of them is the reflection of a window (saw the camaraman and the soundguy in it :), other one is the doll in the beginning, the kid lost it after they passed the gate, a few minutes later you see a shot of the doll before the gate…..
Anyway this doesnt stop me from watching :) but it makes me wonder how it would have been when Oliver Stone had directed that *movie*, it would have been very very cool I think :))
