Just got home from the Counting Crows concert in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam where they played tonight (and tomorrow and the day after tomorrow). Again it was a very very good concert, this time they spend more time and money on the decoration/lights, but that was because they ware taping for their DVD that they will bring out this fall. I was afraid today that I couldn’t go because of this damn cold I have, but with some painkillers and tissues I was able to make it. Now its time for me to go to bed and hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. BTW Gemma Hayes was replaced by Daryll-Ann.

The concert of the Counting Crows was last night. Before we went to the Heineken Music Hall we went into Amsterdam for a nice dinner at Mr. Coco’s in the centre of Amsterdam, to celebrate my boyfriends birthday (he is 30 also now :)). After that we drove to the Amsterdam Arena to park our car there and there is also Heineken Music Hall where the concert took place. The concert was really great. Arid did the support act, that is a belgian *rock* band, not really my kinda music but it could have been worse. Counting Crows played for almost 2 hours!!!! they did a lot of songs of they new album Hard Candy but they also played some old songs. Heineken Music Hall was packed, as the concert was sold out in 5 minutes after the ticket sale started :) It was warm/hot/sweaty but again it was a goood concert so it was worth it :).

Getting ready for this weekend. Its gonna be birthday party time :) On monday I will be going to Counting Crows :) And then its gonna be relax time till the end of the week. They say the weather is gonna be good for the next week. (to be honest its to hot atm for me….. and sticky…. brrr).

Friday was a good day. First I got my dishwasher and in afternoon I managed to get me some tickets to the Counting Crows concert that will be in Amsterdam on August 19th. The concert was first planned on August 26nd and was sold out, but then they chanced dates because of their American tour, so I did some tickets hunting on the internet the last couple of days, and I was lucky!! :)
